Jeff Spurgeon Bio:
Jeff started his construction career over 25 years ago in the construction materials testing field.  Soon after, Jeff moved into a Superintendents position. Working for several General Contractors across the country, he has built almost every type of commercial structure and specialized for many years in Movie Theater Complexes working for such clients as AMC, Regal Theaters, Rave Motion Pictures, Muvico Theaters, and Century Theaters. Jeff has worked in various capacities on construction projects including Superintendent, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Estimator. After working in South Florida on many types of projects including schools, light industrial, office/retail, and health care, he relocated to Brevard County in 2003 to build the Rave Theater at the Avenue at Viera. Upon completion of the Rave Theater, Jeff obtained his State Certified Building Contractors License (CBC#1254385) and opened Sunshine State Construction. We have been proudly serving Central Florida since 2004. Jeff maintains a hands on approach to all of our projects ensuring the highest levels of quality and customer service.
Jenny Spurgeon Bio:
After completing her Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Jenny moved back to Fort Wayne, Indiana to start her career. During that time she built her own home, designing the house and acting as construction manager throughout the build. She was able to get hands on experience with the construction process, contracting subcontractors, verifying construction per the plans, cost control and scheduling. She also performed several trades herself including door installation, finish carpentry, flooring installation, and painting. Jenny moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2006 when she joined forces with Jeff. Since then Jenny has continued to have a hands on approach with Sunshine State Construction's clients, working on nearly every project along side Jeff and our subcontractors, and acting as controller for the company.
